In an historic undertaking, the Virginia Chiropractic Association,
together with the American Chiropractic Association, has begun a lawsuit
against Trigon Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
As denoted in the suit, Trigon has systematically discriminated
against chiropractors by paying them reduced reimbursements for similar
services performed by MD’s.
This is just one example of the treatment the chiropractic profession
is subjected to by Trigon, Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
This lawsuit suit is an attempt to even the playing field.
