UVCA Awards

UVCA presents the following awards each year at its annual Fall Convention. Special awards of recognition not listed here may also be presented. 

Chiropractor of the Year – in recognition of exceptional service, achievement and/or leadership to the chiropractic profession for current or past accomplishments by a UVCA Doctor of Chiropractic member. 

District Director Award – in recognition of exceptional service, achievement and/or leadership to the chiropractic profession for current or past accomplishments by one of the five UVCA District Directors. 

Literary Award – in recognition of a Doctor of Chiropractic who has published a paper in a scientific journal. 

John Stoke Award – named for the founder of the Stoke Chiropractic Clinic in Roanoke which has been in operation for more than a century, this award recognizes a Doctor of Chiropractic who has published a piece for lay consumption in digital or print media. 

Nominations for the 2025 Annual Awards will open in August 2025.
