CA Online Training Program
Description
Based on the priorities voiced by Virginia Doctors of Chiropractic and Chiropractic Assistants, UVCA’s Online CA Training Program equips you with a thorough knowledge of best practices for the full scope of chiropractic office procedures, including healthcare terminology and methods, anatomy, physiology, and the many therapies utilized by DCs. Developed by popular instructor and long-time supporter Dr. Louis Crivelli, the 30-hour program can be accessed for 10 months after purchase and is available on demand to be completed at your own pace. Course content consists of three 10-hour blocks as follows:
- General Information/Chiropractic
- Anatomy/Physiology
- Therapeutics

About the Instructor
UVCA member Louis Crivelli, DC, MS began practicing in Greenbelt, Maryland in 2002 and has been training and educating chiropractic assistants for over a decade. Dr. Crivelli is the developer, chief instructor and coordinator of the Maryland Chiropractic Association’s Chiropractic Assistant program and regularly teaches and records CA continuing education seminars throughout the country. He is Chairman of the Maryland Chiropractic Association and was voted Chiropractor of the Year for 2016-2017. He also serves as chair of the Insurance and Legislative/Legal Committees and is the Maryland delegate for the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Crivelli received his doctorate in chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in 2001 and holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport Dr. Crivelli is a certified nutrition specialist (CNS) and focuses his interventions on inflammation and soft tissue healing.

The Unified VCA, ACRRT, and York Technical College have launched a new rad tech limited program with greater convenience, cost-effectiveness, and opportunity.
- Training is ONLINE, augmented by ten (10) hours of hands-on review in your own office.
- Four (4) start dates for the training per year.
- Exam is online and available MONTHLY.
- Curriculum and exam reflect current practice trends.

Additional Training for CAs
Strengthen and customize your learning even further by attending optional in-person CA classes at UVCA spring and fall conventions taught by Dr. Crivelli and other professional instructors. These live classes are recommended to maximize your investment in professional development. In addition to conventions, the UVCA regularly offers both in-person trainings on topics relevant to the CA, such as Medicare and coding and documentation, as well as online learning through our Nuts + Bolts Lunch & Learns. CAs can also obtain radiography certification online through the UVCA and York Technical College Rad Tech Limited Program.
